Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and how buying, selling and ordering through EUROYACHTS (LARGS) LIMITED works. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using this website you accept these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use it.
1. About us
This website is run by EUROYACHTS (LARGS) LIMITED (“Euroyachts”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC147699), whose registered office is at Euroyachts Showroom, Irvine Road, Largs, KA30 8EZ. Our VAT number is GB 617318838. You can contact us on 01475 687204 or at [email protected].
2. Using this website
- You may use this website to find out about boats, engines and our services, and to contact us. You must not misuse it: for example, by trying to get into parts of it you aren’t meant to, interfering with how it works, or copying its content in bulk.
- The words, photos, designs and logos on this website belong to us or to the people who let us use them (boat owners, other brokers and manufacturers). You may view and print pages and brochures for your own use, but not copy or republish them without permission.
- We work to keep the website available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available, free of errors or free of viruses. We may change or withdraw any part of it.
- Links to other websites are for your convenience. We aren’t responsible for their content.
3. Information about boats
- Details of boats for sale are given in good faith from information supplied by their owners, other brokers or manufacturers. We can’t guarantee that they are accurate or complete, or the condition of any boat or its equipment. You should check anything that matters to you, by inspection, survey and sea trial, before you commit.
- Prices, specifications and availability can change at any time, and a boat may be sold or withdrawn without notice.
- Unless a listing clearly says so, don’t assume a boat is VAT paid or that its price includes VAT. Before you buy, ask for and check evidence of the boat’s VAT status and its compliance with the Recreational Craft Directive (in Great Britain, the Recreational Craft Regulations 2017), such as its CE or UKCA mark and Declaration of Conformity.
- New-boat details come from the manufacturer’s published information. Photos may show optional equipment, and specifications and prices may change: we confirm the details of your chosen boat before you order.
- Some wording on our website is drafted or tidied with the help of AI and checked by our team before it is published. How we use AI explains where.
4. Buying a used boat through us
- When we sell a used boat as broker for its owner, we act for the owner. The contract of sale is between you and the owner, not with us, and buying from a private owner gives you fewer statutory rights than buying from a business.
- An offer you make through this website, by phone or by email is passed to the owner. Nothing is agreed until a written sale agreement is signed. That agreement sets out the price, the deposit, any survey and sea trial, completion and what happens if either side doesn’t go ahead, and its terms apply to the sale.
- We recommend an independent survey and a sea trial before you commit.
5. Selling your boat with us
- A valuation or a price for your boat is free and doesn’t commit you to anything.
- If you ask us to sell your boat, we agree the terms with you in writing first: the asking price, our commission and what we do for it. We can send you your listing to check before it’s published.
- You must tell us anything you know about your boat that a buyer would reasonably want to know, and the details you give us must be accurate.
6. New boats, estimates and orders
- Boat Builder estimates use the manufacturer’s list prices, including VAT, delivery and commissioning, on the date shown. They are indicative and not an offer to sell.
- A new boat is ordered on our written order form, which sets out the boat, its options, the price, the deposit, delivery and the terms of the sale. When you buy a new boat from us as a consumer, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.
- If you order without meeting us in person (for example, entirely by email or phone), you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. That right doesn’t apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, which usually includes a new boat built with the options you choose. Your order form says which applies to your order.
7. Engines, servicing and parts
- Engine prices on this website are the manufacturers’ recommended retail prices, including VAT. Our quote confirms the price we offer you, including any fitting.
- We quote for servicing, repairs and parts before we start work.
8. Finance
EUROYACHTS (LARGS) LIMITED is a broker not a lender and is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority with FRN 690309. EUROYACHTS (LARGS) LIMITED will not charge you any fee for this service as we will receive payment by way of fees direct from the lender. The amount of the fees we receive from the lender does not vary depending on the features of the loan and this payment does not affect the amount payable under the terms of the loan agreement. Finance is subject to status and the lender’s approval. Every finance figure on this website is shown with a representative example and the lender’s details.
9. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law, or takes away your statutory rights as a consumer.
- We aren’t liable for loss caused by relying on information on this website without checking it as section 3 describes, or for loss that wasn’t foreseeable.
10. Complaints
If you’re unhappy with anything we’ve done, please tell us on 01475 687204 or at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to put it right.
11. Changes and the law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
