Delphia 10 Sedan

The Delphia 10 Sedan is a 10-metre motor cruiser made for slow, comfortable cruising, and she gives you a lot of room for her length: two proper cabins, a roomy saloon and a bathroom that's noticeably large. Delphia is part of the Beneteau Group, and you can see it in the finish.

The aft cockpit has a U-shaped bench that opens out towards the water, which makes it a good spot for lunch or a lazy afternoon. Wide side decks run the length of the boat on both sides, and there's a large swim platform with a transom hatch. A sliding side door at the helm lets you step straight out to handle lines when you're mooring, and fenders and lines have their own stowage, so they're not cluttering the cockpit.

Solar panels are built into the hardtop to help run the boat's equipment, so you can stay out longer between marinas. Her air draught is low enough to get under low bridges, which opens up rivers and canals that taller boats can't use.

Inside, vertical windows run all the way round the saloon, so you've a view in every direction. The galley has plenty of storage and a fridge, and it leads straight through to the cockpit, so cooking, eating and sitting out all happen in one space.

You can have her with one cabin or two. The forward cabin has a double that converts to two singles. In the two-cabin layout the guest cabin also has a double, while the one-cabin version turns that space into an office or utility area. The bathroom has a separate shower, which you don't often find on a boat this size.

There are two drive options: a quiet, fully electric system with no fumes or vibration, or an inboard diesel for longer trips that cruises comfortably at around 7 to 9 knots. The displacement hull is steady at low speed and the tall helm windows give a clear view, so she's easy to handle on rivers and canals, even if you're fairly new to skippering.
