The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380
A lively 38-footer with an inverted bow, twin wheels and a lifting keel, offered with two or three cabins, suited to sailors who want a boat that's easy to handle.
She's a 38-footer that sails well and is easy to get around, inside and out. The inverted bow helps her downwind and makes her more responsive, which you'll notice when manoeuvring in port.
On deck, the side decks are recessed, so moving forward feels safer, and the twin wheels give you a clearer view from the helm. The boom sits low, making the sails easier to reach, and that also lets her carry more sail area without adding weight.
The lifting keel means you can dry out on the sides using removable poles, and it doesn't take anything away from her performance.
Below, it's bright and airy with a clean, modern look. The forward cabin has a rectangular berth, and there's a daybed on the keel box that's more comfortable to use at sea. You can choose three roomy cabins, or two cabins with two separate showers and a storage locker.
