With a 1.60 m draught and 14.15 m overall, the Sun Odyssey 45.2 is a sizeable cruiser that Jeanneau has since replaced, so she's now a boat you'd look for second-hand rather than order new. Her hull length is 13.80 m.

Jeanneau designed her for open water. The bow has fine entry lines, and the hull is quick and lively when you put the helm over, which makes for good progress on a passage.

Inside, she came in three-cabin and four-cabin versions. The first suits a couple or family wanting more space, the second a bigger crew, and she's rated for 8 to 10 people. The deck is laid out without clutter, so getting forward or working the sails is straightforward.
