Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43, photo 1 of 1

A 13-metre Sun Odyssey cruiser from Daniel Andrieu, no longer in production, suited to owners who want a comfortable interior and a boat that still sails well.

Jeanneau stopped building the Sun Odyssey 43 some time ago, but she remains a good example of what the range was aiming for: a classic, elegant cruiser that puts comfort on board first without giving up the sailing performance Sun Odyssey owners expect.

Daniel Andrieu drew her together with the Jeanneau Design Office. The hull is fast and comfortable, with a length of 12.84 m and 13.21 m overall, and she draws 2 m. Steering is from twin wheels in the cockpit.

Down below, the interior is warm and nicely finished. She was offered with anything from 2 to 4 cabins, so the layout varies from boat to boat and it's worth knowing which one suits you before you look at a particular example.

For cruising, she carries 200 l of fuel and 400 l of fresh water.
