Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42i

A previous-model Jeanneau cruising yacht of 12.85 m with a wide twin-helm cockpit and generous stowage, well suited to passage makers and liveaboards.
Jeanneau no longer builds the Sun Odyssey 42i, but she was designed with longer trips in mind, and it shows most in the cockpit.
There are 3 large lockers for lines, fenders and the rest of the kit that piles up on a passage, and the liferaft has a locker of its own rather than taking up space elsewhere. If you're thinking of living aboard, that sort of stowage matters more than almost anything.
Twin wheels sit either side of a wide cockpit, with a table that's built to be used properly at mealtimes rather than folded away. Jeanneau put real thought into making the cockpit feel safe and secure at sea, so the crew can settle in while she gets on with sailing.
Her hull length is 12.59 m, or 12.85 m overall. She carries 355 l of fresh water and 130 l of fuel.
