Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419

A 42-foot Philippe Briand cruiser from Jeanneau, now out of production, for crews after a quick, easy-handling boat with two or three cabins.
Jeanneau no longer builds the Sun Odyssey 419, but she's well worth a look if you're after a used 42-footer that's quick under sail and easy to handle. When she was in production she took in the latest improvements and innovations from across the Sun Odyssey line.
She came in two layouts, with either two or three cabins, so it's worth deciding which suits your crew before you start looking. A couple cruising on their own may prefer the extra space of two cabins, while a family or regular guests will make good use of three.
The figures: 12.76 m overall, 11.99 m on the hull, a beam of 3.99 m and a draught of 2.1 m. Tanks hold 200 l of fuel and 330 l of fresh water.
Philippe Briand designed her, with input from Jeanneau's own design team. Her lines are elegant without being fussy, and the interior is light and bright.
