Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.1 CC

A 4.95 m Jeanneau centre console, no longer built, that suits a couple heading out for the day and still takes up to 5 when friends come along.

The Cap Camarat 5.1 CC is one Jeanneau has stopped building, so if you're looking at one now it will have had a previous owner. At 4.95 m long and drawing just 0.3 m, she's a compact centre console that will happily nose into shallow water.

Steering is the part owners tend to mention. She holds the same precise feel through tight bends as she does flat out, so you're not relearning the boat every time you change pace.

She's really set up for two people slipping off on their own, but the cockpit can be rearranged when others join you, up to a maximum of 5. Convert the bench seat and the space aft turns into somewhere to eat, and up forward there's room to stretch out in the sun.
